Last Friday Greta had her good friend Lilly over for a play at the park, a lunch date, and cupcakes to celebrate her birthday again. Lilly is the daughter of some Regent friends, and she is about 6 months older than Greta--but the two have so much fun together and often hug and chat with one another. Lilly has a baby brother, and so I think that also helps Greta prep for being a big sister soon.
The park down the street is our backyard--we go there every day at least once. Greta has made a lot of neighborhood friends there.
She loves playing with Ben--who is 4 years old. He is very sweet with her, probably because he has a brother her age and knows how to interact with littler ones. Whenever we go to the park she usually mentions the prospect of seeing Ben.
Greta's favorite activity at the park lately is playing in the leaves and making nests with them. She calls this part of the park the "garden".
Oh, and playing in the dirt is fun too!
